4360 posts · Joined 2006. #17 · Nov 20, 2006. from what it sounds, it would seem that the system had a problem, no from what i have been reading it doenst say how to fix the problem with out a scanner, what you can try is to pull the negative side of the battery for about 10 minutes and then re-attach and see if the problem persists!. Reset Security Dodge Caravan. Insert the ignition key into the driver side door lock. Turn the key counterclockwise to unlock the door. Turn the key clockwise to initiate the alarm activation sequence. Turn the key counterclockwise. The alarm will stop and reset itself. It would start and then shut down after 2 minutes.
